If you want to transport your wheelchair or scooter inside your vehicle, then you need a lift designed to help you load your wheelchair or scooter into it. While the term for your lift might be an "inside lift," it could very well be located outside the vehicle itself. It might help you load your wheelchair into the body of the vehicle, such as in a minivan, or it might simply help you load it into the trunk. It generally consists of a platform that slides out and drops to the pavement like a ramp, or a platform that secures a type of electrical boom lift that swings out and lifts the scooter or wheelchair with straps or other attachments.
